procedure for the CERN-supported GSM mobile telephones.

Making a call
Inside the CUG area (Sunrise GSM network):
To a CERN extension or a CERN GSM telephone:
| Dial the number
beginning with 7 or 16 and then press "Call" |

international number followed by "Call" |
eg.: 7xxxx "Call" (for a CERN internal

From July
2007, the prefix 333 before
calling an external number is no longer needed. Your phone behaves
like a national Swiss mobile phone.
Depending on your access authorization, you may call outside lines

To a Swiss number:

Memorizing numbers
You can memorize frequently called numbers for easy calling. Consult
the operating
manual of the telephone for details.
It is recommended that you enter the full international number so that the memory
location can be used both within and outside the CUG. You can dial the full international
number even if you are in the same
country as your correspondent. |

Mailbox Service
The Voice Mailbox service can be activated on all CERN mobile phones
| The Voice Mailbox number is +41 86 076 487 xxxx, |
| and the former abbreviated number is 24. |
Setting
up your Voice Mailbox:

Press the key 1 for a few seconds and you will
be requested to enter your Voice Mailbox number
which is:
+41
86 076 487 xxxx (the last 4 digits of your phone number) |
- Then, you need to define
when you want your Voice Mailbox to be activated.
To do so, please go to:
Menu > Settings > Call
